Such a wonderful feeling to accomplish some level of self-sustainability! Chas and I just got our herb garden planted yesterday - rosemary, lemon thyme, cilantro, and two sweet basils for now. I'm planting the tomatoes today and the rest of the seeds will probably go down once we're back home after memorial day. Love the updates - keep 'em coming! Looking great, Paige! My first sewing machine was MUCH older than I, and it did the job just fine. I FINALLY bit the bullet and bought a new a few years back, and it baffled me for months. It sat there, mocking me with it's technical advances, and it was months before I finally put the old one aside and tried my hand at the new one. Congrats, and happy sewing! Love it! Actually cooking them - that's pretty straight forward, and yet it's not what always happens. I think that's what it comes down to though...I just need to cook the meals I planned! Freezing meals would be great for us. There are times when I just don't feel like cooking and being able to pull a homemade meal out of the freezer would be so much better than pulling out a frozen boxed pizza - yuck.
