The concert was oh so fantastic! Menomena was the opening band and wow, they were so intense and intriguing and talented. I really enjoyed their performance! And The National, well of course they were amazing! It is always so great to see a band performing their songs live. What a wonderful experience and opportunity! Thanks to [...]

An entrance into the International District Linnet introduced us to the neatest “toys” at the International District. They’re actually collectible toys that come in little boxes – about the size of those single serve cereals. There are lots of different themed sets, but each one you get is a surprise. So, for instance, you might have a set that is [...]

The “Hammering Man” in front of the Seattle Art Museum Collin loved this statue. I have a video of him in action, but I can’t seem to get in on here. Guess it’s the wrong sort of file. Anyone know how I can save it in a different format?

This totem statue is so cool! I wish I would have taken some more detailed shots. It’s made out of motorcycle parts. How fun it must have been to create something like that.

Lunch by the Sound. From September 14th – September 20th my Mom, Collin, and I were in Seattle visiting my sister Linnet. We drove and Collin did surprisingly well – long drive and all. We had a most wonderful trip of course! I love Seattle! And I love Linnet – thanks!

Can’t contain my excitement: I’m going to Seattle this next week to visit my wonderful sister Linnet, and I just found out today that we will be seeing Okkervil River (along with Sea Wolf and Zykos) at Showbox at the Market! *(Turns out this was actually a special showing in the afternoon – as opposed to [...]
